THIS is DRAG - SPOTLIGHT 029 / FEBRUARY 2026
MissConduct
Curated by Kevin Blondin

Summoned from somewhere between your darkest dreams and your most beautiful nightmares, MissConduct is not just a drag artist — she’s a full-fledged entity. Known as THEE Demon Queen of Kitchener-Waterloo, MissConduct blends gothic glamour, creature-feature fantasy, and punk defiance into performances that are as confusing as they are captivating. Nearly six years into her drag journey, MissConduct has carved out a world entirely her own — one rooted in alternative culture, fearless self-expression, and the power of being unapologetically odd.

The Demon Queen

A Beautiful Nightmare in Toxic Green and Jet Black

MissConduct (always one word, always capitalized) is a reclamation story wrapped in jet black and toxic green. Originally given her name by people no longer in her life, she transformed it into a badge of honor — a perfect fit for her alternative lifestyle and art. First appearing on March 15, 2020, MissConduct has spent almost six years building a drag persona that thrives on contradiction: gothic yet playful, monstrous yet magnetic, deadly yet deeply human.

Representing Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, MissConduct describes her drag in three words: gothic, confusing, deadly — and she means every one. Her aesthetic pulls from early internet alt culture, high school MySpace and VampireFreaks days, and a deep love of alternative music and fashion. Think creature-feature silhouettes, monochromatic looks, heelless and hoof shoes, and outfits anchored by fur, leather, and metal. Goth girls just wanna have fun™️ — and MissConduct makes sure they do.

There’s nothing wrong with being different — your uniqueness inspires others.
— MissConduct

Music fuels her performances, with “Sex Metal Barbie” by In This Moment setting the tone for her world. Her inspirations range from Evah Destruction’s bold precision to the alt icons she once followed online, all filtered through her own chaotic lens. Whether she’s sweating it out under stage lights with a hand fan or locking in a look with Got2B freezing spray, MissConduct’s drag is built for impact.

At its core, drag is MissConduct’s creative release — a way to get ideas out of her head, burn off ADHD energy, and connect with audiences through something raw and real. One of her most unforgettable moments came when she joined Kiesza on stage at Cowboys & Angels in Waterloo, sparking not only a standout performance but a genuine friendship.

Career highlights include starring in SoftCult’s “One of the Pack” music video, which has surpassed 45,000 views — a milestone that cemented her place beyond the local stage. And she’s not slowing down anytime soon. In early 2026, MissConduct will open for SoftCult’s album release party at The Drake Underground in Toronto, with more shows and opportunities always on the horizon.

Above all, MissConduct’s message is clear: you have to be odd to be number one. Her drag is a love letter to outsiders, weirdos, and anyone who’s ever felt different — a reminder that uniqueness doesn’t need permission, and that being alternative might just inspire someone else to come out of their shell.

MissConduct isn’t here to fit in — she’s here to disrupt, inspire, and terrify in the best way possible. As she looks toward international stages and continues building her own darkly beautiful universe, one thing is certain: the Demon Queen’s reign is only just beginning. Be punk. Be odd. And never be afraid to take up space.
