Every month, THISisDRAG.com highlights an artist whose work shapes, inspires, and electrifies the drag community — and we’re kicking off 2026 with a burst of Latin glamour and comedic brilliance. This month’s Spotlight shines on Kamilla Flores Kameleon, the charismatic, flower-powered showgirl who has become the heart of the House of Kameleon. With eight years of drag, a love of rhinestones, a voice that never shies from speaking her truth, and a passion for building community, Kamilla brings beauty, humour, and heart to every stage she touches.

The Flores Phenomenon

Sweet, Spicy, and Unstoppable

Kamilla Flores Kameleon isn’t simply a drag performer — she’s a radiant force of glamour, humour, Latina pride, and fierce community spirit. With roots in Peru and years spent growing up across Southwestern Ontario, Kamilla’s drag reflects her culture, her heart, and her unapologetically bold personality in every rhinestoned detail.

Her name, inspired by Castlevania’s Carmilla — a powerful woman refusing to accept the rule of old men — blends perfectly with her floral essence and the lineage of her drag mother, Karma Kameleon. Together, the elements form the identity that fans now adore: Kamilla Flores, the Latina showgirl blooming with confidence, charm, and comedic bite.

At just 25, Kamilla has already been performing for eight years, representing Guelph and Hamilton while commanding stages across the region. Whether she’s delivering a laugh-out-loud comedic number or turning out glamour and curves worthy of a classic showgirl revue, Kamilla always performs with heart. “Glamour, curvy, Latina” is how she describes her drag — but her artistry goes far beyond aesthetics.

Drag creates spaces where people can just be themselves, and it’s an honour to help build that.
— Kamilla Flores

Kamilla is a creator at her core. She loves sewing, flowers, and the colour red — motifs that frequently infuse her drag. Her must-have product is NYX Epic Wear Liner, the only white liner she trusts for her eye-popping looks. And when she’s getting into the zone, she recommends readers listen to “Diosa” by Kali Uchis — a perfect soundtrack for the divine, empowered fantasy she exudes.

Community sits at the heart of Kamilla’s work. As the founder of the House of Kameleon, she’s built both a drag family and a creative collective that she considers one of her proudest achievements. Her drag sister and best friend, Chimaera, is an essential part of her life, both in and out of drag.

Kamilla’s favourite moments aren’t just about glamour — they’re about connection. Hosting Pride Hamilton this year stands out as a highlight: a moment of pride, joy, and honour that validated her years of dedication to the community she loves.

Her message is clear and powerful:
“Have pride in yourself, take up space, and live as true to yourself as possible.”

Looking ahead, Kamilla sees herself continuing to build spaces for queer joy and mentorship, ensuring that House of Kameleon thrives and grows for future generations. And with big hints of a “new era” on the way, fans can expect even more beauty, humour, and heart from this Latin showgirl star.

From glamour to giggles, from rhinestones to red roses, Kamilla Flores is a performer who blooms brighter every time she steps on stage.

With a new era on the horizon and her commitment to community stronger than ever, Kamilla Flores continues to bloom, inspire, and uplift everyone around her. Whether she’s hosting Pride Hamilton, sewing stunning looks, or mentoring the next generation through the House of Kameleon, Kamilla is proof that drag is not just an art form — it’s a space for pride, joy, and unapologetic self-expression.
