Some artists spend years finding their voice. Others seem to arrive already knowing exactly what they want to say. For Toronto-based Filipino drag artist Claim Supreme, drag is a language of glamour, storytelling, transformation, and—above all—resilience.

Claim Supreme may be a relatively new name on the drag scene, having begun her journey on January 28, 2026, but she has wasted no time making an impression. Blending pageantry, avant-garde fashion, high-energy performance, humour, reveals, rhinestones, and even sparks, Claim approaches every performance as an opportunity to turn imagination into reality.

Claim Your Power

A rising Filipino drag artist transforming dreams, grief, and creativity into unforgettable performances.

Her name carries a deeply personal connection to her identity. “Claim” is her birth name, lovingly given to her by her Mama, who would tell her that when she was born, she didn't want to come out and that she had “claimed” her from God. Adding “Supreme” reflects the confidence, regality, versatility, and high-concept artistry of her drag persona—a name that represents stepping into your power and becoming the highest version of yourself.

That connection to family, particularly her Mama, is at the heart of Claim Supreme's story. Her mother's strength, resilience, and unconditional love remain her greatest inspiration, while her journey with cancer and passing have profoundly shaped Claim's relationship with drag. What began as an artistic pursuit has also become a place for healing, emotional expression, and connection.

And that connection has already brought Claim some extraordinary milestones. Among the highlights of her first year in drag was being crowned Pride Legacy Pageant winner—a moment she dedicated to her Mama. When she returned home afterward, she found a moth in her room, a small moment she interpreted as a comforting sign that her mother was there to share in the celebration.

For Claim, the achievement isn't simply about winning a crown. It's about proving that even through life's hardest moments, there can still be beauty, joy, and strength.

“Claim your dreams, claim your joy, claim your power.”
— Claim Supreme

Her aesthetic reflects that philosophy: an artistic fusion of glamour, storytelling, and conceptual design, drawing inspiration from pageantry, avant-garde and alternative fashion, and her Filipino culture. Behind the scenes, Claim is equally committed to the craft, using everything from a hot glue gun and rhinestones to makeup and repurposed garments to bring her visions to life. Her next goal? Learning to sew so she can eventually create wearable art not only for herself, but for other entertainers.

With Filipino artistry proudly represented through her admiration for performers like Marina Summers and her membership in the supportive Tres Marias sisterhood alongside Manda Draganda and Lexi Luhst, Claim is building a creative community around herself while carving out a distinct identity of her own.

And if her first year is any indication, Claim Supreme is only getting started.

Her message is simple but powerful: believe in yourself, embrace your authentic self, and keep rising—even when life tries to hold you down. Because when you claim your dreams, your joy, and your power, there's only one place left to go: Supreme.

Claiming Her Future

Claim Supreme's story is one of transformation—not just transforming fabric, makeup, and imagination into drag, but transforming difficult experiences into something beautiful.

For Claim, drag is a celebration of life, a tribute to her Mama, and a reminder that creativity can become a powerful form of healing. Whether she's stepping onto a stage in rhinestones and glamour, creating a new conceptual look, or sharing the behind-the-scenes process with her growing audience, she continues to turn personal experiences into art that connects with others.

She may not know exactly where she'll be five years from now, but she knows she wants to keep creating, keep performing, and keep dreaming bigger. With larger stages, bolder concepts, her own handmade garments, and plenty more surprises on the horizon, Claim Supreme is ready to continue building her world—one look, one performance, and one dream at a time.

As she puts it: “Claim your dreams, claim your joy, claim your power.”

And Claim Supreme is doing exactly that.
